Rivers and Lakes

Seven natural streams traverse Highlands Pass. Numerous waterfalls, from high to low provide the property with a naturally dramatic feeling that only mountain springs can give.

Highlands Pass is bracketed by both the Little Tennessee River and the Cullasaja River. This glorious area provides boating, kayaking, swimming, rafting and some of the best fishing in North Carolina.

A short distance away is the Chatooga River, showcased in the movie "Deliverance" with its white water pitches and rapids providing the ultimate outdoor experience.

You will also find Dry Falls, so aptly named because you can walk under the falls without getting wet, and there is the magnificent Cullasaja Falls. Both are located within the Cullasaja Gorge.

Prepare to be amazed at the beauty of the 1,200 feet deep Tallulah Gorge.
